Caramel And White Chocolate Cookies

The warm whiff of caramel wafted up the persian green stairway. With a certain urgency I dashed down to the metal rack on which they sat, quietly. The immaculate white chocolate was still melted, the sleepy kitchen was toasty with the golden brown rounds of bliss. Delicate pink blossoms settled upon the stack of laced cookies, I seem to have lost count of how many I actually polished.

Crumbs and all.
